Altura has been retained by a specialist consulting firm to appoint a Senior Partner / General Manager to help lead its next stage of growth.
This is a senior market-facing role for someone who can operate across client leadership, advisory, sales, delivery oversight and practice growth. The firm has strong credibility across complex enterprise environments and is now looking for a leader who can deepen executive relationships, shape major transformation opportunities and build a high-performing consulting team around them.
The role
You will be responsible for:
- Building trusted relationships with CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, COOs and senior transformation leaders
- Identifying, shaping and converting consulting opportunities across technology, data, digital, cloud, infrastructure or enterprise transformation
- Leading strategic client conversations and positioning the firm as a genuine advisory partner
- Overseeing delivery quality across complex programs without needing to be hands-on day to day
- Hiring, mentoring and developing senior consultants, delivery leads and advisory talent
- Contributing to commercial strategy, go-to-market focus and the firm’s broader growth agenda
The background we are looking for
This role will suit someone who has operated as a Partner, Associate Partner, Client Partner, Practice Lead, GM Consulting, Consulting Director or senior transformation leader within a consulting, advisory or technology services environment.
You will likely bring:
- A strong executive network across enterprise or government clients
- Proven experience originating and growing consulting revenue
- Credibility across large-scale technology or business transformation
- The ability to move between boardroom-level strategy and practical delivery realities
- A track record of leading consultants, building capability and improving commercial performance
- A low-ego, hands-on leadership style suited to a growing specialist firm
This is not a role for someone looking to sit above the business. It needs a senior leader who is still close to the market, close to clients and energised by building something with real momentum.
