Enterprise consulting engagement | Sydney | Exclusive to Altura
Altura is partnering exclusively on a senior consulting role for a major enterprise data centre transformation program.
This is a Principal Architect role for someone who can operate across enterprise applications, infrastructure, migration planning and senior stakeholder engagement. The program is focused on moving complex business-critical applications into a new data centre environment, where the architecture, migration approach and delivery risk need strong hands-on leadership.
This is not a pure strategy role. We need someone who can get close to the technical detail, work with solution architects and engineering teams, challenge assumptions, and give senior stakeholders confidence that the migration path is understood, controlled and deliverable.
You will be responsible for:
- Owning the application migration architecture across a complex enterprise environment
- Assessing application dependencies, technical constraints and migration readiness
- Working closely with infrastructure, cloud, network, security and application teams
- Translating technical complexity into clear plans, risks and decisions for senior stakeholders
- Leading architecture conversations across business-critical platforms such as ERP, CRM and other core enterprise applications
- Providing consulting-level assurance around sequencing, cutover planning, remediation and delivery risk
- Acting as the senior technical authority across the migration workstream
We are looking for someone with:
- Strong architecture experience across data centre, infrastructure or large-scale enterprise migration programs
- Deep understanding of application migration in complex enterprise environments
- Ability to engage confidently with architects, engineers, program leaders and executive stakeholders
- Strong technical judgement across enterprise applications, hosting, integration, security and infrastructure dependencies
- Consulting or enterprise client-facing experience
- The ability to bring structure, pace and confidence to a high-profile transformation program
The right person will likely have worked as a Principal Architect, Enterprise Architect, Solution Architect or senior migration lead on large infrastructure, data centre or enterprise transformation programs.
This is a senior role where credibility matters. We need someone technically sharp, commercially mature and comfortable owning architecture direction in front of a demanding enterprise client.
